When I Started My Career ?

It all began from a phone call, a job vacancy as assistant pastry chef in KL. The offer of an exciting job! That took some time to sink in. The thought of the long hours on my feet and sticky floury hands was daunting. But I always loved to potter around the kitchen and make delicious... for my family. Just to see that they enjoyed, what I was doing, was sufficient. Taste and quality was paramount for me.

I always loved to potter around the kitchen and make delicious... for my family. Just to see that they enjoyed, what I was doing, was sufficient. Taste and quality was paramount to me. So the niggling thought, why not Do it commercially? I squashed what doubts I had, and gladly accepted the job.

My Journey

I spent 10 years happily churning out cake after cake daily, in a commercial kitchen. It honed a desire for my own set up. From there, a little home based industry started in 2006, with an order book filled with celebrations of all kinds. Here, this early love of “caking” was bought to a new level.

A love of all things pretty, started my journey into studying cake decoration. The creativity it demanded and How to acquire the skills for it. It was a mesmerizing journey, where day and night knew no boundaries. The frustrations and joy of achievement.

Quality Restaurant cakes would always be my forte and my first love, but the occasional pretty party cake was so enticing. My customers have been so encouraging and supportive. Each one of them has in some way enriched my life with their support. Thank You!
